Rhona's Rooms started in 1996 as a little bolt hole in the garden, just so Rhona's husband Pete and his band The Blues Brothers (ft above) could practice. It was never intended for it to be anything special, let alone a business.
 

With Pete's friends asking to use his practice room from time to time, more musicians looking for rehearsal space started to catch wind. Over time, more rooms were built to meet demand. Things got so busy, Rhona took over running the rooms full time and became the heart and soul of the place. She truly considered the
people that came here to be her friends. The business grew organically, up until Rhona sadly passed away in April 2023. All these years later, many of the bands from day 1 still come to rehearse here today, including some of the original members of Pete's band that started it all.

Despite the sad loss of Rhona, the rooms have continued with her daughter Charlotte at the helm with the help of her husband Alex. The intention now is to improve the equipment, reinvest profits and renovate the rooms to modernise the space. It'll take a few years, but in the meantime we're having fun starting on a new project.​​
